Founders Village Master Association E-News
Hello Founders Village Homeowners,
The 4th of July is almost here! We hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing holiday with family and friends. As you prepare for the festivities, we wanted to share a quick reminder tho help keep the community safe and enjoyable for everyone.
- Check Local Rules First: Firework laws vary heavily by county and city. Please take a quick moment to check your local authority websites to see what is legal and permitted in the community this year.
- Reporting Concerns: If you need to report illegal firework usage or noise disturbances, please contact local law enforcement or local fire authorities directly. Please note that the association / management office does not have law enforcement authority and cannot respond to or resolve active firework violation.
- Handle with Care: If you are using legal fireworks or sparklers that are permitted, please ensure they are handled by adults and kept a safe distance from homes, dry grass, and vehicles.
- The "Soak Before You Toss" Rule: Permissible sparklers and fireworks can remain hot long after the flame goes out and may easily ignite a trash fire. After use, submerge all spent fireworks and sparklers in a large bucket of water for several hours (or overnight) before disposing of them in the trash.
- The non-emergency contact number for Castle Rock Police Department is 303-663 6100.
- The non-emergency contact number for Castle Rock Fire and Rescue is 303-660-1066.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep the community safe this holiday. Have a fantastic and bright Independence Day!
Thank you.
